Ryan McCarthy Honored As Ivy League Player of the Week and Suburban Transit/GPT Athlete of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Ryan McCarthy was selected as the Ivy League Player of the Week and Suburban Transit/GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week after a seven-point performance during Princeton's 3-0 week.
It is the third time in McCarthy's career that she has been honored with the Ivy award.
McCarthy scored Princeton's first tally against No. 10 Maryland on Tuesday. The Tigers would go on to take down the Terrapins, 2-1.
The senior captain was even better in the Ivy Opener against Dartmouth. After assisting on the Tigers' first goal of the game, McCarthy registered two tallies, giving her five points on the day.
It's McCarthy's fifth multi-goal game in the last two seasons. She has 20 goals in her last 28 games after scoring 12 in the first 37 games of her career.
Princeton is now 4-4 on the season and currently on a three-game winning streak. The Tigers have won seven times against ranked opponents in head coach Carla Tagliente's tenure. The Tigers take on Yale on Friday at Bedford Field at 6 p.m.
