Tigers No. 17 In Penn Montco/NFHCA Coaches' Poll

CHANDLER, Ariz. – The Princeton Tigers have been selected as the No. 17 team in the latest Penn Montco/NFHCA Division I Coaches' Poll, the organization announced today.

Connecticut remains as the top team in the poll as the Huskies earned 43 of 47 first-place votes. Duke jumped to No. 2, followed by Penn State, Virginia, Delaware, Syracuse, North Carolina, Boston College, Michigan and Maryland. Harvard is the top Ivy League team at No. 16.

Princeton travels to Syracuse on Oct. 1 (2 p.m.) before welcoming Connecticut to Bedford Field on Oct. 8 (12 p.m.).

Head coach Carla Tagliente's team dropped a 2-1 decision to then-No. 4 Duke on Sunday. Elise Wong recorded the Tigers' goal. The Tigers take on No. 10 Maryland tonight on the road. The matchup is scheduled for 6 p.m.
