Princeton No. 15 In Penn Montco/NFHCA Coaches' Poll

CHANDLER, Ariz. – The Princeton Tigers currently sit at No. 15 in the latest the Penn Montco/NFHCA Division I Coaches' Poll, the organization announced today.

Connecticut jumped to the top spot with 28 first-place votes while Penn State improved to No. 2. Syracuse, Duke and Virginia round out the top five. Connecticut will come to Bedford Field on Oct. 8 (12 p.m.). The Tigers take on Duke this Sunday (12 p.m.) down in Durham, N.C.

No. 6 Delaware, North Carolina, Michigan, and Maryland round out the top 10. Harvard is No. 17 in the poll.

Princeton earned a weekend split, defeating to then-No. 22 Rutgers, 4-1, on Friday, but falling to then-No. 3 Penn State, 2-0 on Sunday. For her weekend, MaryKate Neff was selected as the Ivy League Rookie of the Week, making her the second consecutive Tiger (Julianna Tornetta) to receive the honor.
