October 07, 2015 | Men's Soccer
PRINCETON, N.J. (10/7/15) - Princeton freshman Henry Martin has been asked to join the US U20 Men's National Team for its international tournament in Germany.
The tournament comes as college soccer ramps up conference play, with half of the US team roster being players being selected from college teams. The US is preparing for the 2017 U20 World Cup.
"We are excited for Henry to have this great opportunity to play with the U20 Men's National Team in difficult international matches," Princeton head coach Jim Barlow said. "Henry has been involved with the U18 National Team, so I think he is familiar with many of the players in this age group. Training with the best players in the country and playing against some of the best national teams in the world should provide him with another opportunity to improve. We are grateful that Princeton allowed him to take advantage of this unique opportunity, and we wish him all the best in Germany.
