Princeton junior Kelly Shon was 4-over Thursday to stand at 8-over for the NCAA Championship heading into Friday's final round at the University of Georgia Golf Course.
After two rounds that saw her put up a total of eight birdies but also two double bogeys, Shon parred her most holes of any of the first three rounds, matching the scorecard on 14 of 18 holes while bogeying the second, eighth, 13th and 18th holes. Her score has her in the top half of the field, tying for 55th among 126 competitors.
USC's Annie Park paces the field at 9-under, two shots in front of both Ally McDonald of Mississippi State and Stephanie Meadow of Alabama.
Standing third among the six players who gained entry to the field as individuals, Shon will begin her final-round tee time on hole No. 1 at 12:48 p.m.
