Box Score

It was a game of ups and downs, but one that the Princeton women's basketball team came out on top of Tuesday evening. After conceding their once 18-point lead, the Tigers employed a late second half rally to eclipse Penn 60-44 at The Palestra in the 2012-13 regular season finale.

Megan Bowen had six of Princeton's opening 8-0 run, as the Tigers held Penn scoreless for the first 4:28.

Bowen posted her second double-double of the year with 10 points and 10 boards.

Lauren Polansky thrashed the ball from an oncoming Keiera Ray and dished it to a sprinting unguarded Blake Dietrick to give Princeton its first double figure lead, 12-2 at 11:37.

The Tigers cruised to an 18-point differential, 22-4 at 8:46, but the early momentum subsided heading into halftime.

Penn cut down the Tigers' lead to 10 by the break and opened the second half with 10 uncontested points to tie things up 30-30 with 14:48 left. On the other end of the floor, Princeton's offense came out flat, missing on its first eight possessions.

As Princeton struggled to connect, the Quakers found a way to take their only lead of the game, 34-33 at 10:26.

Consecutive triples from Kate Miller and Dietrick provided Princeton with the life it needed, reenergizing the Tigers and setting up a 20-2 run.

Miller had two key treys down the stretch to finish with eight points, while Dietrick concluded with 11 points.

During Princeton's late surge, senior Niveen Rasheed had seven points and three boards to guide the charge. Rasheed scored a team-high 13 points, including going 5-for-6 from the stripe.

Princeton (22-6, 13-1 Ivy) will now await its seeding and first round location for the NCAA tournament. The NCAA Selection Show on Monday, Mar. 18.
