The Princeton men's lacrosse team will play five of its 13 regular-season games on ESPNU. The network announced its 38 game schedule Thursday afternoon.
Princeton's first ESPNU game will be its second of the year and will be part of a Princeton doubleheader on the network on the evening of Friday, March 1. The Tigers take on Johns Hopkins in men's lacrosse at 5, and that game will be followed by the men's basketball game against Harvard.
Princeton will host three ESPNU games, including Friday evening games against Yale (March 22, 5 pm) and Harvard (April 19, 6 pm). The other home game will be against Syracuse Saturday, April 6, at 5 pm.
The other regular season ESPNU game will be April 27, when Princeton takes on Cornell in the Konica Minolta Big City Classic at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. The Tigers-Big Red game, which faces off at 4, is the opener of the doubleheader that also includes Notre Dame and Syracuse.
Princeton opens practice for the 2013 season on Feb. 1. The season opener is at Hofstra on Feb. 23.
Princeton went 11-5 last year, winning the Ivy League championship with a perfect 6-0 record before losing 6-5 to Virginia in the opening round of the NCAA tournament.
