For the first time since 2010, the Princeton field hockey team won the outright Ivy League title. The Tigers have at least clinched a share of 18 of the past 19 championships, including the last eight consecutive titles. No. 2 Princeton handed Penn a 7-0 shutout loss en route to its 21st championship overall.

The Tigers (16-1) now head into the NCAA Tournament Play-In Game following their perfect 7-0 Ivy slate. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 6 versus the winner of the Patriot League and will be played at Columbia in New York City at 1 p.m.

Kathleen Sharkey headlined the offensive effort with four goals, including scoring her third consecutive game-winner. She grabbed the loose ball, beat the Penn defenders and lifted it over Quaker goalie Carly Sokach to put Princeton up 1-0 in at 13:38.

After finding their footing in the Quaker circle, the Tigers persistently peppered in shots throughout the remainder of the match.

Princeton doubled its advantage in the 15th minute, as Allison Evans recorded the first of her three consecutive goals off a dish from Michelle Cesan in front of the cage.

Evans then followed by notching an unassisted goal at 29:05. She picked up the deflected ball, pulled to the left and reversed her aim to shoot from the right side.

The sophomore striker tallied her first career hat trick with her 44th minute goal. Similar to her previous score, Molly Goodman grabbed a deflected shot and tapped to an open Evans to make it a 4-0 contest in favor of the Tigers.

Evans was not done assisting in Princeton scoring efforts, as she passed the ball off to a driving Sharkey on the left side at the 45:43-minute mark to further put Penn in a deficit hole.

Sharkey added the Tigers' final two goals, both unassisted, in the 49th and 63rd minutes to bring her season scoring total to 29.

The Tigers held advantages in shots (34-5), shots on goal (22-1) and penalty corners (10-3). Penn did hold a 15-1 save differential.

In goal, Christina Maida recorded Princeton's lone save over her first half minutes. Julia Boyle took over goalie duties in the second half and maintained the clean sheet. The Princeton goaltenders have now shutout its last six Ivy opponents following Saturday's regular season finale.
