The weather conditions weren't the only perfect thing at Lake Carnegie Saturday morning. The top-ranked Princeton women's lightweight crew remained unbeaten on the season with a sweep of No. 4 Georgetown. Princeton won the first varsity race by more than 10 seconds and won all three races during the regatta.

Princeton won the Class of 2006 Cup with a first varsity time of 6:58.4, topping Georgetown's time of 7:08.7. Princeton also won the second varsity (7:16.7) and the varsity four (8:35.4) competitions. The win improved Paul Rassam's squad to 6-0 on the season, but the Tigers know they have more work ahead. They will host rivals Radcliffe (April 26) and Wisconsin (May 3) in the next two weekends. Those three schools have been the historically dominant program in the sport and will likely face each other in the biggest two races of the season, the Eastern final and the IRA national championship final.

Princeton and Radcliffe will meet for the Class of 1999 Cup next Saturday at Lake Carnegie, with racing scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Princeton won the Class of 1999 Cup by more than 10 seconds over the Crimson last year.
