At Princeton: 2005 — started all 10 games at cornerback and finished the season with 37 tackles, including 16 solo stops … finished fourth in the Ivy League in passes defensed with 11 (two interceptions, nine pass break-ups) … recorded an interception in a pair of wins at Penn and Dartmouth … continued to be one of Princeton’s premier special teams defenders … made a season-high eight tackles in 23-21 season-opening win against eventual Patriot League champion Lafayette … made six solo tackles and broke up two passes in 20-17 win over San Diego … made six stops and recovered a fumble at Brown. 2004 — finished fifth among all Princeton defensive players with 54 tackles (36 solo), despite missing one-and-a-half games with a shoulder injury … recorded a season-best 12 tackles, including eight solo, in 27-26 overtime win at Columbia … had at least five tackles in six of nine starts … recorded six pass breakups, including three in season-ending 17-10 win against Dartmouth … recovered a fumble against Harvard … continued his role as Princeton’s premier special teams defender, making many of his unassisted tackles on punt and kickoff coverage teams. 2003 — started the final eight games of the season at cornerback and recorded 37 tackles … 30 of his 37 tackles were unassisted … recorded his first interception in the final minutes of the double-overtime contest at Harvard … made a career-best nine tackles, including eight solo stops, in his first start of the season vs. Columbia … turned into Princeton’s best open-field tackler on special teams, especially punt returns.
At Goldsboro — earned three varsity letters in football as a running back and defensive back … rushed for 1,800 yards and gained 700 yards receiving as a senior … earned two varsity letters apiece in basketball and tennis … senior class valedictorian … named to the National Honor Society and the Mu Alpha Theta math honor society.
