Courtesy: Beverly SchaeferThe Class of 1916 Cup was awarded to men's heavyweight crew senior Cary Malkiewich on Thursday night at the PVC Senior Student-Athlete Awards Banquet. The Class of 1916 Cup is awarded to the varsity letterwinner who, continuing in competition in his or her senior year, achieved at graduation the highest academic standing. It was given by the Class of 1916 on the occasion of its 50th reunion.
Malkiewich is a four-year member of the men’s heavyweight crew and a math major from Worcester, Mass.
