Team captain along with Matt Kontos ... has started all 51 games during his career ... a candidate for all-league and regional honors.

2006 Season - A second-team All-Ivy selection for the second time in his career ... finished second on the team with 10 points and first on the team with four assists ... led the team with 48 shots and 28 shots on goal, more than twice as many as any other Tiger player ... had two huge goals for Princeton in Ivy League play ... converted one-on-one opportunity late in the first half to give Tigers 1-0 win against Dartmouth Sept. 30 ... scored with just 35 seconds left in regulation to tie Columbia game at 2-2 ... Lions had scored to go ahead just 28 seconds earlier ... had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 victory against Duquesne ... also assisted on Jame Wunsch’s goal against Saint Joseph’s two days later, starting the play with a corner kick ... assisted on Zach Schwarz’s game winner at Loyola.

2005 Season -
Returned from a year away from Princeton and started all 17 games for the Tigers at forward ... led the team with 39 shots and 21 shots on goal ... scored a spectacular goal in a 1-1 tie against Rutgers, volleying a shot from outside the top of the box ... also had an assist later in the season for the Tigers.

2003 Season -
Earned second-team All-Ivy honors as a freshman ... scored two goals and added three assists while playing in and starting all 17 games ... finished third on the team in scoring ... had two goals at Dartmouth, including the overtime game winner ... was named Ivy Rookie of the Week after that performance ... had assists against Cornell, Rutgers and Penn.

Before Princeton - A two-time captain and an all-conference, all-county, and all-state selection in his junior and senior years at The McDonogh School ... also was all-metro and all-state in his senior season ... finished his high school career with impressive totals of 48 goals and 55 assists ... Bethesda Alliance club team was the state and Region I champion in 2003 and finished the year with a No. 2 national ranking ... also captained his ODP team and was a member of the Region I Team for three years.

Full name is Kyle John McHugh ... born April 17, 1985 ... parents are John and Susie McHugh ... graduated first in a platoon of 49 candidates at Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Va., this summer and will join the U.S. Marine Corps upon graduation ... majoring in politics.
