The Princeton women's swimming and diving team continued its pursuit of NCAA Championship qualifications Saturday in Annapolis at the 2014 ECAC Championships, and there were several remarkable performances by the Tigers.

"Coming back a week after a strong Ivy meet we had a great day of racing," assistant coach Suzanne Yee said. "We had women swimming lifetime bests and were able to break ECAC meet and Lejeune Pool records in several events. Lisa's 100 fly swim was a pleasant surprise, as it's a relatively new event for her. She has worked on how to swim a smart race and put one together tonight."

They opened the meet in style, as the quartet of Lisa Boyce, Olivia Chan, Nikki Larson and Morgan Karetnick won the 200 medley relay in a pool record time of 1:40.23.

While those four were a winning team in the relay, Princeton had four of the top five finishers in a memorable 100 fly. Boyce topped her own Princeton record in the event in 51.97, while Larson finished second in 54.27. Karetnick took third in 54.60, while sophomore Sada Stewart placed fifth in 54.94.

Sophomore Beverly Nguyen finished second in the 400 IM in 4:18.23, while Chan followed with a second-place finish in the 100 fly in 1:03.02.

Boyce doubled up with a win in the 100 back in 53.65, while Stewart took seventh in the event in 55.89.

Princeton will now wait for the NCAA to announce the qualifiers for the 2014 Championship meet.
