Volleyball Sweeps Dartmouth, Will Take On Harvard Saturday At 5 pm
The Princeton women's volleyball team used a balanced offensive attack, featuring at least eight kills from five different players, to defeat the Dartmouth Big Green 3-0 Friday night at Dillon Gym.
Led by freshman Kendall Peterkin's match-high 10 kills, Princeton knocked off Dartmouth 25-23, 25-19, 25-17 to remain alone in second place in the Ivy League.
Princeton got another efficient night from its middles, as the sophomore duo of Nicole Kincade and Tiana Woolridge combined for 16 kills and six blocks with only three errors. Outsides Lydia Rudnick and Sarah Hanna also added eight kills apiece; Hanna didn't have a single error and hit a team-best .667 on the night.
Princeton remains two matches behind first-place Yale, which held off Columbia 3-1 Saturday night. The Tigers will face Harvard, which fell 3-0 to Penn Friday, at 5 pm in Dillon Gym. Princeton rallied for a 3-2 thriller over the Crimson in Boston earlier this season.
