Day 2 (6 p.m.) - Tough race for Eddie Owens. He was in the back for most of the race and finished 11th in his heat. Owens was not pleased with how he raced today, saying after the race that his head wasn't in it and that he didn't feel the fire he usually has before the gun. He did have a great junior year and one he said he hopes in a few days can look back and be happy with but he didn't reach the goals he wanted to - make the finals, make USAs.

Sorry I got locked out of my account to update the Web site after Megan's race.

Although she finished 11th and earned second-team All-America honors, Megan wasn't pleased with the second half of her race. And called it a "good bad race." Her time was just seconds off her PR and school record but she didn't think it was her best. Three more years to improve.

Day 2 (4:45 p.m.) - Peter Callahan '13 made the finals of the men's 1500 with a fourth-place finish in Heat 2. He'll run the final on Saturday at 5:18 p.m. ET. It's an overcast day here in Oregon and about 65 degrees. It won't benefit Megan Curham, who expressed that she runs better when it's really hot - as evidenced by her time in Florida at Regionals. But up first is Eddie Owens in the steeplechase. That event starts in half hour and he is in heat 1. Teammates Damon McLean and Adam Bragg are already here cheering on the Tigers, and will most likely be joined by Michael Williams, a native of Washington, who was spotted cheering on his teammates yesterday

Day 2 (10 a.m.) - What a whirlwind it has already been and that was just Day 1. Our national champion Julia Ratcliffe flew out this morning and is headed back to Princeton to clean out her room before heading to London. She's super excited to meet up with her Dad, who she hasn't seen since Christmas. Today we have three Tigers competing, but just two in Orange & Black. Peter Callahan '13 who helped win Princeton a national title in the indoor distance medley relay will run the semifinal of the 1500 for New Mexico, where he is finishing his eligibility while in grad school, at 7:30 ET. Rising senior Eddie Owens takes on the semifinals of the steeplechase at 8:35 and Megan Curham takes the final event of the night, the 10k final at 10:15. Check back later for more updates.
