Match notes: This was the fourth meeting between the two teams, with Princeton winning in 2002 and 2003 (2002 at ODU) and ODU winning at home in 2009 ... it was ODU's first defeat of the season after wins over Howard, Richmond, Morgan State and Norfolk State.

Coach Billy Pate on the match:
"It was another solid win on the road and I continue to be pleased with the effort and energy. We got off to a great start in doubles today and we executed better than we did Thursday (against William & Mary). We're happy to get two good wins to start the season and we'll look forward to getting back to work this week."
