Men's Soccer Defeats Drexel 1-0 on Sanner Goal
PRINCETON, N.J. (10/8/13) - A goal by Thomas Sanner in the 59th minute led the Princeton men's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Drexel on Tuesday, Oct. 8 on Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium.
Sanner scored the unassisted goal by dribbing into the left corner with two defenders. He cut towards the goal and let loose a shot that beat netminder Tyler Afflerbach.
After a scoreless first half that saw two shots apiece for both teams, Princeton turned on the engine in the second half. The Tigers outshot the Dragons 11-2 in the second half and had five corner kicks to Drexel's two.

Afflerbach made three saves for Drexel.
Princeton improves to 4-5 and resumes Ivy League action on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Brown at 7 p.m.
