PRINCETON, N.J. (11/2/13) - Freshman Megan Curham finished in fourth place to lead the Princeton women's cross country team to a fourth-pace finish at the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2 at West Windsor Fields.
Curham covered the course in 20:26.1 to earn first-team All-Ivy League honors.
Junior captain Emily de La Bruyere was 10th at 20:55.3 and earned second-team All-Ivy honors. She was followed by sophomore Katheryn Fluehr in 18th at 21:27.2, junior Lindsay Eysenbach 26th at 21:39.1 and sophomore Kathryn Little at 21:52.7. The Tigers' sixth and seventh runners were freshman Lizzie Bird at 21:55.8 and senior Clare Gallagher at 22:03.2.
Dartmouth won the race with 38 points after a big finish by Abby D'Agostino. D'Agostino clocked a 19:40.8, coming in nearly 40 seconds ahead of the second-place runner. Cornell was second with 66 points, followed by Harvard with 73. Princeton had 95 points, while Columbia was fifth with 101 points. Penn was sixth with 166, followed by Brown with 174 and Yale with 182.
Princeton will compete at the NCAA Regionals next Friday, Nov. 15 at Lehigh.
