Three-time 2012 Ivy League individual champion Lisa Boyce finished her strong sophomore season with her best finish at the 2012 NCAA Championships. Boyce placed 31st in the 100 free, which moved her up six spots from her original seed.

Boyce, who placed 38th in the 100 back Friday, entered the final day of NCAAs with a seeded time of 49.13, which she recorded while earning her third Ivy League title last month. She nearly hit that time, going 49.14 for the 31st-fastest time in the field. She continuously moved up throughout the weekend, as she opened NCAAs with a 46th-place finish in the 50 free.

Though her 100 free preliminary swim did not get her into either the 'A' or 'B' final for All-America honors, it took nothing away from her magical second season at Princeton. The Tigers' record-setting sophomore earned multiple first-team All-Ivy League honors, and she placed in the Top 50 in all three of her events at NCAAs.
