COLUMBIA MEET PREVIEW l GETTING TO KNOW LAUREN SHANLEY

Kerry Gruendel is a senior co-captain for the Princeton women's swimming and diving team, and she has helped the Tigers win the last two Ivy League titles. Prior to her final home meet Friday afternoon, she talked with GoPrincetonTigers.TV.

Gruendel has reached three Ivy League championship finals in her career, including two last season. She had a career-best finish of seventh in the 200 IM, and she placed second in the 200 IM at the 2011 Big Al Open.

Gruendel will try to lead Princeton to an upset of Harvard at the 2012 Ivy League Championships when the Crimson host the meet at Blodgett Pool Feb. 23-25.
