The fourth-ranked Princeton women's squash team will host a trio of Top 10 teams this weekend, and the Tigers made quick work of their first foe. Princeton won all 27 individual games in a 9-0 win over 10th-ranked Brown, and will now prepare for Sunday's matchups against No. 5 Yale and No. 7 Stanford.

Princeton will take on Yale Sunday at noon in a three-shift format, with all matches taking place on Courts 4-5-6. The top six matches will be available to be videostreamed on the Ivy League Digital Network (see link above). Princeton will host No. 7 Stanford following the Yale match, with an approximate start time of 3 pm.

The Tigers got exactly when they hoped for on Saturday. They played well, but nobody was extended beyond a third game. The first shift featured four Princeton wins, including a dominant performance from senior Libby Eyre at the No. 2 spot; the co-captain dropped only five points total in her win over Sarah Domenick.

Sophomore Rachel Leizman wasn't far off the pace, as she dropped only six points in her win at No. 4. Leizman turned it on after the first game, closing the match with wins of 11-1 and 11-0. Junior Hallie Dewey and freshman Alexandra Toth also won early to open a 4-0 Princeton lead.

Princeton clinched the win with little drama in the second shift, as nobody was pushed to beyond an 11-5 victory. Freshman Maria Elena Ubina won in three games at the No. 1 spot, as did the junior duo of Nicole Bunyan (No. 3) and Alex Lunt (No. 5). Senior Alex Sawin (No. 7) and sophomore Tara Harrington (No. 9) rounded out the performance with impressive wins; Harrington lost only seven points in her match.

Princeton will now look to defeat Yale in a rematch of last season's 5-4 Princeton thriller in New Haven. That Tiger win helped Princeton complete an undefeated season and win the 2013 Ivy League championship. It could also give an early look at a potential Howe Cup quarterfinal showdown, though both teams could move up in the rankings over the next couple of weeks.
