Release: 03/22/2013

Senior Julie Cerullo and junior Libby Eyre were the 1-2 punch at the top of the lineup that Princeton needed en route to winning the 2013 Ivy League championship. Their efforts were rewarded Friday as both were named to the All-Ivy League team.

Cerullo ends her brilliant Princeton career as a four-time All-Ivy League selection. She went 12-4 on the season while playing the best players in the nation one match after another, and two of her victories came against fellow All-Ivy League honorees Danielle Letourneau (Cornell) and Nabilia Ariffin (Penn). She reached the national quarterfinals, where she fell in a tough match to Penn's Yan Xin, the Ivy League Rookie of the Year.

Eyre was named to the All-Ivy League team for the second straight year. Like Cerullo, Eyre went 12-4 on the season and reached the national quarterfinal. Eyre had a regular season win over Xin during Princeton's run to the Ivy League title, and she nearly stunned Yale's Millie Tomlinson, the 2011 national champion, during a 3-2 thriller during the national championships.
