Smith Wins Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week Honors
PRINCETON, N.J. (4/21/14) - Princeton women's lacrosse senior Colleen Smith was named the Ivy League co-Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending April 20.
Smith had another outstanding week on the Princeton defense, as the Tigers swept No. 10 Penn and Dartmouth en route to winning the Ivy League title. It is Princeton's first title in seven years.
Smith anchors the defense that forced Penn into 13 turnovers and just 13 shots.
