McMunn Tabbed Second-Team All-America by IWLCA

PRINCETON, N.J. (5/15/13) - Sophomore Erin McMunn of the Princeton women's lacrosse team has been named second-team All-America by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), it was announced by the organization on Wednesday, May 15.

McMunn is the only player in the Ivy League to be placed on one of the first two teams. The 2013 Ivy League Attacker of the Year led the Ivy League in scoring, averaging 4.71 points per game in conference games. She led the Tigers in scoring with 40 goals and 29 assists for 69 points. In addition she played a crucial role on the draws winning 48, the second most on the team, while picking up 14 ground balls and six caused turnovers. Additionally, the Tewaaraton Watch List selection was named first-team all-region and first-team All-Ivy this postseason. A sophomore, McMunn scored her 100th career point after a nine-point game against Columbia in March.
