PRINCETON, N.J. (4/15/13) - The Princeton women’s lacrosse team will be hosting the Princeton University Girl’s Lacrosse Youth Clinic to benefit The Eden Institute on Sunday, April 28.

The clinic is for players in grades 4-8 and will be held from 11-1 at Finney Campbell Fields, adjacent to Princeton Stadium. The cost is $25 with all proceeds going to Eden.

All proceeds benefit The Eden Institute, which serves to improve the lives of people with autism and their families.

The team has also dedicated its game on Saturday, April 27 against Penn State to autism awareness. The game will take place at 1 p.m., on Sherrerd Field at Class of 1952 Stadium.

“Several members of our team are currently enrolled in a psychology course called Childhood Psychopathology," senior captain Jaci Gassaway said. "As a part of our course requirement, we have taken several trips to The Eden Institute, where we have each been amazed and touched by the opportunities Eden creates for its students.

Our goal for the weekend is to raise awareness and to do some fundraising for Eden,” “We are really excited about having several siblings of Eden students on our sideline cheering us on when we take on Penn State on April 27th. During the game we will be selling t-shirts and tank tops, as well as collecting donations for this great cause.”
