Matija Pecotic made it four individual singles titles this fall by defeating Dane Webb of Oklahoma 7-6, 7-6 Sunday morning at the Texas Fall Invitational.

The two-time Ivy League Player of the Year won the top singles titles at the Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational, the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center Men's College Invitational, the USTA/ITA Northeast Regional, and now this tournament in Texas. He also made the semifinals of the ITA All-America, his only loss of the fall, and stands at 22-1 for the fall campaign.

"It was a great event for us," Princeton head coach Billy Pate said. "Though Ryan and I were a bit disappointed after Friday's results, we bounced back and had some encouraging results against very tough competition. That was precisely what we were hoping for at this event."

With Webb carrying a No. 57 ranking on the ITA's preseason list, Pecotic is now 12-1 against fellow ITA-ranked opponents this fall. Pecotic was ranked No. 67 on that list, released in September, and will likely get a major boost when the next ranking comes out in January. Pecotic went 4-0 in Texas and has now won 10 straight singles matches.

Next weekend will be the final one of the fall campaign for the Tigers, who send Pecotic to the USTA/ITA National Collegiate Indoors in New York while other players will head to a clay-court event in Florida.

Complete draws from the Texas tournament can be found here.
