PRINCETON, N.J. (10/26/12) - The women’s lacrosse
team departs on a European trip on Saturday, Oct. 27, during the University's fall break. The team will visit Malta, Sicily and London during it's seven-day excursion.
Princeton will have full-time local tour directors as they travel and

The team is scheduled to leave JFK airport on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 10 p.m., arriving in Malta at 3:35 p.m., on Oct. 28.
The Tigers will spend four days in Malta, with a day trip to Sicily. On Monday, the first full day overseas, Princeton will take an early morning ferry to the island of Sicily. The team will visit Mount Etna, Syracuse, Old City, Pozzallo and check out some Roman ruins.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be spent exploring Malta and taking part in practice sessions and coaching clinics.
The squad is set to depart Malta on Thursday, Nov. 1 and arrive in London at 10:25 a.m. The Tigers get right into sightseeing before a night game against the English senior elite squad.
More exploration is in store the next day, as well as a game versus the English senior development squad.
On Saturday, Princeton will play the English U19 team before taking in a game of its own, a Premiere League soccer match.
The return flight is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 4, with an arrival back in the U.S., at approximately 4:05 p.m.
Note: Malta is six-hours ahead of the East Coast, while London is five.
