Alleva & Laing Named All-Ivy League

PRINCETON, N.J. (2/2/7/14) - Princeton women's hockey seniors Denna Laing and Rose Alleva have been named Second-Team All-Ivy League it was announced by the league office on Thursday, Feb. 27.

Laing leads the Tigers in scoring with 25 points on 12 goals and 13 assists. Laing has scored three short-handed goals this season and recorded her first career hat trick - coming against Rensselaer. She had seven multiple-point games and scored the game-winning goal against Dartmouth on Feb. 1. In 118 career games, Laing has 75 pointa on 34 goals and 41 assists.

Alleva is the team's leading scoring defender with 14 points on six goals and eight assists. She began the season with a bang with nine points in the first six games. Alleva had a three-assist game at Yale, and scored two goals against both Colgate and Brown. She had two other multiple-point games, with three power-play goals and one game winner.

Princeton faces Cornell in the ECAC Quarterfinals this weekend at Lynah Rink.
