PRINCETON, N.J. (11/6/13) - The Princeton women's hockey team heads back out on the road looking for four league points with games at Yale and Brown. Yale hosts Princeton in its home opener on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m., and Brown hosts Princeton on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 4 p.m.

Eye on the Tigers
Princeton heads back out on the road with a 2-2 overall record and matching record in the ECAC. The Tigers have split each weekend in their first two weekends with wins over Dartmouth and Colgate. Princeton two losses this season have been to nationally ranked teams, No. 7 Harvard and No. 3 Cornell. Last weekend's home games proved the Tigers have perserverance and the confidence to know they can count on their teammates. Junior Ashley Holt came in on relief and put on a show the rest of the weekend allowing just two goals and on 42 shots. Senior defender Rose Alleva earned ECAC Player of the Week honors after leading the team and the league's defenders in scoring with three goals and one assist. The only player with more points is sophomore Jaimie McDonell who is playing her first season after missing last year with an injury. McDonell has five points on two goals and three assist. Senior defender Gabie Figueroa adds four assists and five other players have three points.

Princeton/Yale Series
The last meeting between Princeton and Yale but a stop to the Tigers' season. A 4-2 Yale win on Feb. 23 in the season finale put Princeton in ninth, just missing the playoffs by one point. The Tigers are back to even the score, as they hold a 56-12-2 lead in the all-time series.

Scouting the Bulldogs
Yale is looking for its first win as is 0-4 overall and 0-2 in the league. The team opened the season losing one-goal games at both BC and BU. The team dropped a 4-1 game to St. Lawrence and a 7-0 game to Clarkson last weekend. Sophomores Jamie Haddad, Kate Martini, Hanna Astrom along with freshman Phoebe Staenz all have two points apiece. Junior Jaimie Leonoff has started in goal in all four games and has a 4.38 GAA and an .899 save percentage. Freshman Hanna Mandl has seen limited time, just one period and made four saves on five shots.

Princeton/Brown Series
Princeton is on a six-game win streak in the series with Brown. The Bears last win in the series came on Feb. 19, 2010, a one-goal victory. Last year Princeton won 6-1 at home and 2-1 on the road to improve its series record to 38-29-2.

Scouting the Bears
Brown enters the weekend with a 1-2-1 overall record and seeking its first win in the league after going 0-1-1 last weekend. The Bears tied No. 6 Clarkson 1-1 before falling 5-1 to St. Lawrence. Brown opened the season splitting a series with RIT, each winning a 2-1 contest. This weekend's games marked the team's home opener. Sophomore Ariana Rucker has scored twice in three games, while freshman Erin Conway has two assists. Six other players have a single point. Senior Aubree Moore has played every minute in goal and has a .949 save percentage and a 2.18 GAA, allowing nine goals and making 167 saves.
