ALBANY, N.Y. (11/5/13) - Princeton's Rose Alleva was named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending November 3.

Alleva led all defensemen in scoring in the league this week and led Princeton in scoring as the Tigers topped Colgate 6-2 and lost by just one goal to No. 3 Cornell, 5-4.

Alleva scored three goals and had one assist for four points. On Friday she scored Princeton's third goal, as the Tigers scored three times in the first three minutes of the second period vs. Cornell. She then assisted on a power-play goal midway through the period, that pushed Princeton within one. On Saturday she scored twice against Colgate. She tallied an unassisted goal to make it 4-2 and added an empty-net goal in the final minute.

Princeton travels to Yale and Brown this weekend, Nov. 8 & 9.
