The Princeton men's volleyball team will look for its 12th win of the season Tuesday night when it hosts former EIVA rival Juniata at 7 pm inside Dillon Gym.

The match will begin a three-match homestand to conclude the 2013 regular season. Princeton will host Hunter College this Sunday at 2, and the Tigers will compete for a top-three finish next weekend when it hosts George Mason at 4 pm.

Princeton has already clinched a berth in the EIVA playoffs, and can assure itself a spot opposite of Penn State in the semifinals with a win against Mason. Should Princeton lose that match and Harvard win its final two EIVA matches, the Tigers will take on Penn State in the league semifinals.

Princeton is 11-8 on the season, including a 5-2 mark at home. The Tigers have been led by former EIVA Newcomer of the Year Pat Schwagler, who leads the EIVA with 4.6 points per set. However, it has been the recent play of Cody Kessel, another former Newcomer of the Year, that has turned heads recently. Kessel has hit .307 since his return from injury, and he recorded a double-double (14 kills, 12 digs) in a 3-2 loss at Harvard last weekend. He followed up with 10 kills in a sweep of Sacred Heart, which kept the Tigers in the hunt for a Top 3 finish.

Juniata, one of the top Division III programs in the nation, comes into the match with a 22-10 record. The Eagles are led by Alex McColgin, who is averaging 3.4 points per set.
