Release: 10/06/2012

Princeton freshman Quinn Prchal shot 3-under par each of the first two days at the Brickyard Collegiate tournament in Macon, Ga., and he leads the field by one shot heading into Sunday's final round.

Prchal is one of only four players in the 83-man field to shoot under par both days, and he is the only player to break 70 on both days.

After shooting four birdies and one bogey in Friday's first round, Prchal bettered that Saturday with his first eagle of the tournament, coming on the par-5 ninth hole. He also had three birdies to more than compensate for two bogeys in the second round.

As a team, Princeton stands fifth in the 15-team field as Georgia at 8-under has built up a nine-shot lead over Virginia Tech. Georgia Tech, at 3-over, is next, followed by North Florida at 6-over and Princeton at 7-over.

Princeton will tee off beginning at 9:20 a.m. Sunday for the tournament's final round. Princeton's results are below, and results for all players can be found here.

5. Princeton 286-297--583 (+7)
1. Quinn Prchal 69-69--138 (-6)
T25. Greg Jarmas 72-74--146 (+2)
T37. Bernie D'Amato 71-77--148 (+4)
