Junior Year (2013-14): Named second-team All-Ivy League ... appeared in all 31 games ... third on the team in scoring with 25 points on 11 goals and 14 assists ... finished with a +10 ... scored a goal in a 4-1 win at Penn State on Oct. 27 ... chipped in two assists at both No. 6 Cornell and Colgate on Oct. 31 & Nov 1 ... scored a power-play goal and an assist in a 3-2 win over Union on Nov. 14 ... collected two assists against St. Lawrence on Nov. 21 ... earned an assist in a 2-1 loss to No. 2 Minnesota on Nov. 29 and scored on the Gophers the next day ... scored twice, with the game winner at Dartmouth on Dec. 6 ... assisted on two goals at Rensselaer on Jan 2 ... had one assist at No. 5 Quinnipiac on Jan. 6 ... scored in wins over both Yale and Brown on Jan. 9 & 10 ... picked up an assist in a 2-2 tie with Dartmouth on Jan. 30 ... scored on both Colgate and No. 9 Cornell in a weekend sweep ... earned an assist at No. 8 Clarkson on Feb. 13 ... had a two-point game with a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win at Brown on Feb. 20 ... scored on Yale on Feb. 21.

Before Princeton: Played her last three years with the Toronto Jr. Aeros of the PWHL ... captain in 2011-12 ... the Aeros were finalists in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League (LLFHL) in 2009-10. ... the team won the PWHL and finished as the runner-up in the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA) Provincial Championship in 2011 ... the team was the PWHL and provincial silver medalists in 2012 when McDonell scored 10 goals, five of which were game winners, and 15 assists ... finished her career with the Aeros playing in 86 games, scoring 18 goals and 33 assists for 51 points ... selected to Team Ontario Red for the 2011 National Women's Under-18 Championship ... named the MVP while guiding her team to the championship ... played for the Toronto East Enders Ticats from 2002-09 ... member of the hockey, field hockey, softball, badminton and beach volleyball teams at East York Collegiate Institute.
