Two attempts by the Princeton softball team this weekend to play in multi-team events in Maryland and Virginia were halted due to weather-related field conditions, so the Tigers will instead play at home.

Princeton will host Hartford for an 11 a.m. doubleheader on the Finney-Campbell turf fields next to Princeton Stadium. The Tigers and the Hawks have never met on the softball field.

Princeton is looking for its first win after playing five games against teams who were not making their season debuts last weekend as the Tigers were, while Hartford is 1-3 after opening its season last weekend in a Hampton-hosted tournament.

Princeton's next games after the Hartford doubleheader will be on the team's spring trip in Northern California beginning March 15.
