Another Ivy League game, another record for the Class of 2013. This time the Princeton women's basketball team established a new Ivy League win streak record with 33 consecutive victories in its 59-34 win over Cornell Saturday.

The senior class improved to 50-1 in Ivy play over their three-and-a-half years, making them arguably the most dominant class in Ivy history. As a team, the 2012-13 version of the Tigers improved to 18-5, 9-0 Ivy.

Princeton limited the Big Red to only five points over the first 12 minutes to establish a 27-5 advantage behind a 51.9 (14-for-27) first half shooting percentage. The Tigers also forced 10 turnovers during that span to prevent the Big Red from supplanting Princeton's early momentum with one of their own.

Niveen Rasheed extended her double figure scoring streak to 22 with 10 of her game-high 14 points over the first period. She also tallied six boards, and team-bests in assists and steals with five apiece.

Despite putting together its 24th consecutive double figure conference victory, the Tigers' offense struggled to find fluidity at times. The squad committed 21 turnovers and Cornell converted them into 11 points.

Along with Rasheed's 14, sophomores Blake Dietrick and Mariah Smith served as the team's second-leading scorers with eight apiece. Dietrick had a pair of triples and Smith went 3-for-4 from the field in 17 minutes of work.

Off the glass, junior Kristen Helmstetter grabbed a game-high nine boards.

With 16:26 left in regulation, a Rasheed layin lifted Princeton to its largest lead of the night, 40-14, and the squad teetered around a 20-point differential for the remainder of the game.

The Tigers hit the road for their final regular season road trip of the year, visiting Harvard on Friday, Mar. 1 and Dartmouth the next day.
