No. 12 Menís Water Polo Defeats Johns Hopkins 11-5, Navy Due Up Tonight

The No. 12 Princeton men’s water polo team extended its winning ways in Southern Division play, topping Johns Hopkins 11-5 to improve to 12-3, 5-0 Southern Saturday. The Tigers will host Navy later this evening at 7:30 p.m.

Kayj Shannon led the offense with four goals and a steal, as Princeton managed the scoreboard throughout the contest. The Tigers’ jumped out to a 3-1 lead and stretched it to a 7-3 advantage by halftime.

Princeton remained in control through regulation outscoring the Blue Jays 5-2 over the second half.

Drew Hoffenberg added three goals, two assists and two steals, and Curtis Fink tallied three steals, two assists and a goal. Goalie Alex Gow made three assists and 13 saves to improve to 5-2 on the year.
