One Round Into Ivy Meet, @princetongolf Men Stand Second
One round into the Ivy League Championship, the Princeton men's golf team stands in second place, six shots back of leader Penn at Caves Valley in Maryland.
The Quakers benefited from the first-day performance of the only player to finish in red numbers through 18 holes, Max Marsico, who is atop the individual leaderboard at -2. Princeton's Greg Jarmas is one of three players tied for second at +1 along with Penn's P.J. Fielding and Yale's Sam Bernstein.
Yale and Columbia are nine shots of the pace in third place, and Harvard and Dartmouth are tied for fifth, 11 shots back of the Quakers. Cornell, 16 shots behind Penn, and Brown, 19 shots back of the lead, round out the field.
Saturday's second round will begin for Princeton at 1:15 p.m.
