Edward Kelley is one of 12 fencers who will represent Princeton at the NCAA Championships.

The Princeton fencing program got some good news Tuesday when it was allotted the maximum 12 bids to next week's NCAA Championships in Columbus, Ohio.

Princeton, Harvard, Notre Dame, host Ohio State, and St. John's are the only schools that claimed the maximum 12 bids.

The Tigers finished fourth a year ago at the NCAA Championships, tying its best finish since the current men's/women's combined format came into being in 1990.

Representing Princeton will be epeeists Edward Kelley, Jonathan Yergler, Katharine Holmes and Hannah Safford, foilists Marcus Howard, Alexander Mills, Eve Levin and Ambika Singh, and saberists Philip Dershwitz, Robert Stone, Eliza Stone and Diamond Wheeler.

The meet will begin Thursday, March 22 with the women's competition Thursday and Friday and continue with the men's competition Saturday and Sunday.
