Princeton freshman foilist Ambika Singh placed seventh at the Junior World Cup fencing event in Lyon, France at Saturday's competition, placing second among Americans at the event.
Singh, who is training to compete for a spot on the U.S. Olympic fencing team for the 2012 Games, was one of 105 fencers competing. Fifteen countries were represented, including 11 from Europe, plus the U.S., Canada and Japan.
