Match notes: Alabama now leads the series against Princeton 3-0, with the previous Alabama wins coming in 1999 and 2007 ... Saturday's match was the first time since taking over at Princeton that head coach Billy Pate coached against the program he led for 10 seasons at Alabama ... Sunday, Pate will coach against his alma mater, Mississippi State ... the Tigers and Bulldogs have met just once, in 2012, a 4-0 MSU win at the ITA Kick-Off Classic in Texas.

"Once again, we fought hard, but unfortunately we didn't have the execution today. It was a quick turnaround from the Clemson match and though we gave it all we had emotionally and physically this morning, it was a challenge to mount the charge we needed. Alabama came out and played inspired, and credit to them for playing well. We dug ourselves a hole early and the leads we had, we didn't sustain. Nonetheless, we have another great opportunity tomorrow against either Mississippi State or Auburn. We'll look to recover and prepare for another battle."
