Match notes: This was the first meeting between Princeton and Marquette ... Princeton is 3-0 to start the season for the first time since 2008 ... there were five match points at third doubles before the Marquette duo pulled it out for the doubles point ... at fifth singles, Augie Bloom rallied from 5-2 in the third set with two breaks to force a tiebreak; in the tiebreaker, Bloom was ahead 6-3 before holding on to win 7-5 ...  Josh Yablon led 7-6 in the second-set tiebreaker before Marquette's Gleb Sklyr rallied to win that set in a tiebreak; Yablon won the third set ... Princeton trailed the match 3-2 before wins from Yablon and Bloom to clinch it.
Order of finish: Doubles: 1,2,3; Singles: 1,3,6,2,4,5

Coach Billy Pate on the match:
"This was an exciting college tennis match and certainly had it's share of momentum swings. It was great to have a such a loud, supportive home crowd. We had our opportunities to secure the doubles point but didn't capitalize on five match points. That put us in a tough position and we really had to dig deep to get the win. Augie (Bloom) and Josh (Yablon) were clutch in the third set and really did a good job of getting us over the finish line. I give a lot of credit to Marquette because they are a good team and really came to play. We need to rest be ready for a new challenge tomorrow with a doubleheader."
