Senior Greta Feldman of the Princeton women's cross country team has been selected to compete at the 2012 NCAA Cross Country Championships, it was announced by the selection committee on Friday, Nov. 9.

Feldman's eighth-place finish at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional yesterday sealed her fate, as she captured All-Region honors and a trip to the NCAAs.

In Feldman's last national championship, the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, she finished fifth in the 1500 to earn All-America honors. She posted Olympic qualifying time in the NCAA semifinal. Feldman would reach the semifinals of the Olympic trials.

This is Feldman's first appearance in the cross country championship.

The national championship will be held at Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky., on Saturday, Nov. 17. The women's race begins at noon and will be webcast on NCAA.com
