As a countdown to the start of the 2013-14 athletic schedule, GoPrincetonTigers.com will take a look at each of Princeton's 38 sports. A new post will be added each day Monday through Friday until the first Princeton athletic event on Aug. 31.

Emily de La Bruyere '15
• 2013 team captain
• 2012 USTFCCCA All-Region, finishing 12th
• 2012 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team and Academic All-Ivy
• Scored in every meet entered in 2012

Jackie Nicholas '15
• 2012 Second-Team All-Ivy League placing 13th
• USTFCCCA All-Region in 2012 finishing 17th
• Third Tiger across the line in every meet she entered in 2012

 Five Princeton Women's Cross Country Facts

• Princeton posted back-to-back fifth-place finishes at the NCAA Championships in 2008 and 2009. The Tigers have finished among the top 15 teams at the NCAA Championship meet six times in the last 10 years.

• The individual Heps champion was a Tiger from 2007-10. Liz Costello'10 won in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and Alex Banfich '12 won the next season in 2010. Other Heps champions include Lynn Jennings (1979), Laura Cattivra (1987) and Emily Kroshus (2003).

•  Princeton made Ivy League history in 2009 as the Tigers had a perfect finish at Heps, going 1-2-3-4-5.

• Princeton has won the Mid-Atlantic Regional four times, in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

• The 2007 team won every meet it entered, including Pre-Nationals, before the national championship race.
