The highlight weekend of the Ivy League women's swimming and diving regular season arrives in a couple days, as Harvard and Yale will join Princeton in Denunzio Pool for the annual two-day showdown. The competition begins Friday at 6, and will continue Saturday at noon.

The three programs have combined to win the Ivy League title 25 times in the last 27 years (including a handful of shared titles between two of the three teams), and either Princeton or Harvard has won the crown in each of the last 13 seasons. The Crimson is the reigning league champion, though Princeton has won 10 times during that 13-year stretch.

Both the 2013 Ivy League championships (Feb. 28-March 2) and this weekend's HYP meet will be held at Denunzio Pool. Both sessions this weekend will be streamed live on GoPrincetonTigers.TV, and you can follow either the live video or the live results by clicking on the links above. The order of events for the weekend can be found at the bottom of the story, and a preview video is available by clicking the play link on the photo.

You can also download the Meet Mobile App here. There is a $1.99 fee to follow each meet, though you will not be charged for both sessions within the same meet.

While HYP weekend is not always a true predictor of success at the Ivy League Championships, it will feature several of the top contenders in both the swimming and diving events.

Each school has a top performer in one of the Ivy League sprint or mid-distance free events. Princeton junior Lisa Boyce, a four-time individual Ivy League champion, brings the top 50 free (22.52) and the second-best 100 free (49.36) times, while Yale senior Alex Forrester has the second 50 (22.61) and top 100 (49.12) times. Harvard junior Sara Li is third in both, though her 200 free time of 1:47.96 is the best in the league right now.

Yale freshman Eva Fabian has been one of the league's best freshmen so far, and her times in both the 1000 (9:50.70) and the mile (16:18.75) are the best in the Ivies. Harvard's Sherry Liu has the top 500 time and is in the top five in both the 1000 and the mile.

A pair of freshmen could have interesting duels in the back events, as Harvard's Kendall Crawford and Princeton's Sada Stewart are a close 1-2 in both the 100 and 200. Boyce is the reigning Ivy champion in the 100 back, while Tiger sophomore Shirley Wang is close in the 200.

The league's top two swimmers in the breast events are at Columbia and Brown, which could lead to a pair of wide open races. Yale freshman Alistair Stephens-Pickeral will have the best time among the three teams in the 100 (1:02.68), while Harvard's Stephanie Ferrell has the best time in the 200 (2:15.34).

Forrester is one of the league's best performers in both fly events, though the Princeton freshman combo of Stewart, Nikki Larson and Beverly Nguyen will be competitive. Harvard sophomore Courtney Otto has the top Ivy time currently in the 200.

Otto also has the best weekend time in the 200 IM, though Li, Crawford and Nguyen are also top contenders in the event.

The top two finishers in both the 1- and 3-meter diving events last season both graduated, so a new winner is assured this season. Both Randi Brown and Emily Kaplan were Princeton winners during the Penn-Cornell tri-meet, while junior Rachel Zambrowicz is a former Ivy League Championships Diver of the Meet.
