• Columbia will again be Princeton's most-played opponent upon Friday night's game, as the game will be the 230th between the schools. Princeton will play Yale for the 229th time next Saturday (and for the 230th time at month's end), and Penn for the 230th time next month.

• Princeton will put its 20-game home winning streak against Columbia on the line Friday night. The Lions last won in Jadwin Gym in 1993. It is the second-longest active home winning streak for the Tigers, who have won 24 straight at home over Harvard.

• The Tigers are 13-1 in the Ivy League at home under Mitch Henderson and have won 23 of their last 24 home Ivy contests.

• Princeton has an active eight-game home winning streak, dating back to March 1, 2013. Princeton had a nine-game home winning streak during the 2011-12 season. If the Tigers can sweep the weekend, a 10-game home winning streak would mark their longest since Princeton won 16 straight at home from March 5, 2010 to Feb. 26, 2011.

• Over Princeton's 9-1 start, the Tigers were 113-283 (.399) from beyond the arc. Over the team's last seven games, Princeton is 65-189 (.344) from distance.

• Princeton's scoring has increased from its 9-1 start (74.1 ppg) to its last seven games (76.4 ppg). Princeton's opponents scored just 64.0 ppg over the first 10 games but are averaging 75.1 over the last seven.

• Saturday's game will match teams at the ends of the league's scoring average chart, with Princeton at 75.1 ppg and Cornell at 64.9.

• Princeton (1st, 10.5/game), Columbia (2nd, 8.0/game) and Cornell (4th, 6.9/game) are three of the top four teams in the Ivy in 3-pointers made per game.

• The Tigers were hot last year against Columbia and Cornell, shooting better than 50 percent from the field in all four games. Combined, the Tigers went 95 of 175 for a 54.3 percent clip.

• Will Barrett, Denton Koon and Ian Hummer were each in double figures for each of the home games against Columbia and Cornell last season. Koon averaged 17 points for the home weekend, scoring 22 against Cornell. Barrett averaged 12, scoring 14 against the Red. Ian Hummer averaged 19, scoring 22 against Cornell.

• In the most recent games against Columbia and Cornell, which were on the road, Koon and Hummer were the only players to score in double figures in both games. Koon averaged 17 points for the road weekend, scoring 23 against Columbia, while Hummer averaged 20, scoring 23 against Cornell.

• Columbia, Cornell and Yale were the only teams against which Denton Koon scored in double figures in both meetings last season.

• Cornell returns 10 of 53 points from its last game vs. Princeton, in Ithaca, and 14 of 59 points from its last visit to Jadwin Gym. That total does not include Shonn Miller, who had 23 points in Ithaca and 12 in Jadwin but has not played in any games this season due to injury

• Columbia returns 30 of its 40 points from the most recent game vs. Princeton, in Manhattan, led by 15 points from Maodo Lo. The Lions return 49 of the 66 points from their last visit to Jadwin, as Lo again led the team with 16 points.

• Princeton began playing the Cornell-Columbia home weekend annually with the beginning of Ivy League basketball for the 1957-58 season. In that time, Princeton has recorded 44 home weekend sweeps, 12 weekend splits and has been swept just once, way back in 1966. The last split was in 2010.

• Entering the week, Princeton had three national top-10 statistical rankings. The Tigers were No. 1 in total fouls (296), third in 3-pointers per game (10.5), and fifth in fewest total turnovers (188).

• Princeton is 8-0 this season when opponents score below 70 points and 4-5 when opponents reach 70.

• Princeton is 10-0 when leading at the half this season and has won 22 straight such games.

• Princeton is on pace to break the program record for 3-pointers made in a season. The 1997-98 team made 265, and at Princeton's present clip of 10.5 threes per game, with 11 more regular-season games to play, the projected final regular-season number stands at 293.

• Of Princeton's 906 field goal attempts this season, 472, or 52.1 percent, have been from beyond the arc.

• Princeton is 9-1 this season when holding opponents below 37 percent from beyond the arc and 3-4 when foes hit at least 37 percent of their treys.

• Columbia entered the week in the top 10 in the nation in free throw percentage, standing eighth at 76.1 percent. Grant Mullins, who was ranked 14th in the nation at week's start, paces the Lions with an .899 clip.

• Cornell entered the week ranked 20th in the nation in fewest total turnovers, with 218.

• Columbia had won six games in a row before being swept at Yale and Brown last weekend.

• Cornell may be 0-4 in Ivy play, but the Big Red turned around a slow league start in 2011 to finish 6-8. Cornell opened league play that year, Bill Courtney's first season, 0-5 before winning six of their last nine Ivy games.

• Just six Columbia players have made starts this season, three of whom have started all 21 contests (Maodo Lo, Grant Mullins and Isaac Cohen). Two more (Luke Petrasek and Cory Osetkowski) have started 17 games apiece, and Alex Rosenberg has made the other eight starts. Rosenberg is the team's leading scorer at 14.1 ppg.

• Columbia coach Kyle Smith, in his fourth season as Columbia's head coach, has some Princeton connections. After spending eight seasons at the University of San Diego, he became a coach at Air Force in 2000 under Princeton alum Joe Scott '87 and alongside another Tiger alum, Chris Mooney '94. A junior varsity player at Air Force at the time was Marcus Jenkins, a current Princeton assistant coach. The 2000-01 campaign was Smith's only season at Air Force before he moved on to Saint Mary's, where he was an assistant coach for nine seasons.

• Like Kyle Smith at Columbia, Bill Courtney is in his fourth season at Cornell after serving as an assistant coach most recently at Virginia Tech. The two are among the three coaches (Paul Cormier, Dartmouth) currently in their fourth season at their present spots.

• Cornell has seen eight players get a start this season, but five players account for 83 of the 90 starts. The five include leading scorer Nolan Cressler (16.3 ppg), Devin Cherry, Dwight Tarwater, Robert Hatter and David Onuorah.

• Cornell's opponents have nearly doubled the Big Red in steals this season, getting 113 swipes from Cornell while the Red have stolen the ball just 66 times.

• Opponents are outshooting Cornell .482 to .415 overall on the season and .397 to .309 from beyond the arc.

• Opponents are 17-0 against the Big Red when scoring more than 55 points this season.

• Columbia is 13-2 this season when scoring at least 60 points. The Lions are 12-1 when shooting at least 42 percent from the field.

• When opponents score at least 65 points, Columbia is 3-5 this season. The Lions are 10-3 when holding opponents to 64 or fewer points.

• When opponents shoot 42 percent or better, Columbia is 3-6 this season. When opponents shoot below 42 percent, Columbia is 10-2.

Mitch Henderson '98 is in his third season as Princeton's head coach. His overall record at Princeton is 49-28.

Under Henderson, Princeton is 25-6 at home, 20-11 in the Ivy League, and 13-1 in the Ivy League at home. Princeton is 38-8 when leading at the half under Henderson and has won 22 straight such games.

Henderson is aiming to become the first Princeton coach since John Thompson III ’88 to have winning seasons in each of his first three campaigns. He would be the sixth Princeton coach to accomplish that, following Frederick Luehring (1912-20), Butch van Breda Kolff ’44 (1962-67), Pete Carril (1967-96), Bill Carmody (1996-2000) and Thompson III ’88 (2000-04).

Henderson is in ninth place on the Princeton all-time wins list, with predecessor Sydney Johnson '97 in eighth with 66 wins over four seasons. With 37 wins through his first two seasons, Henderson was fourth on the list of wins for Princeton coaches through their first two campaigns, behind Carmody (51), van Breda Kolff (39), and Carril (39).

Henderson was a second-team All-Ivy Leaguer in 1998, an honorable mention All-Ivy Leaguer in 1997, and was a two-time Ivy Rookie of the Week in 1994-95.

Henderson graduated as the fourth-leading assist man in program history (kept since 1974-75) and is now fifth, having been surpassed by one of his players, Ian Hummer '13. Henderson graduated fifth in career assists (kept since 1974-75) and is now eighth, having been passed by former teammate Gabe Lewullis '99, current San Diego Padre Will Venable '05 and Marcus Schroeder '10.

Henderson is one of seven Princeton alumni who are current Division I head coaches, including John Thompson III '88 (Georgetown), Joe Scott '87 (Denver), Mike Brennan '94 (American), Chris Mooney '94 (Richmond), Sydney Johnson '97 (Fairfield) and Craig Robinson '83 (Oregon State). The Tigers are second only to North Carolina (eight) in alumni as current D-I head coaches.

Prior to Princeton, Henderson coached at Northwestern for 11 seasons under his final head coach at Princeton, Bill Carmody, from 2000-11.
