The Tigers' maintained their momentum versus their third
top-15 opponent of the season to drop Cal State Northridge, 8-5.
Both sides found the back of the net twice in the first
quarter, but an impenetrable defensive line in the second was what Princeton
needed. The Matadors only got off one shot on goal, but Johnson was there to
swat it away.
As a Johnson-led backline extinguished CSUN's drives, the
Tiger offense created a multi-goal lead, 4-2, entering the break.
Johnson finished with 10 saves in the game, to bring her
total to 18 on the day.
Princeton outscored Cal State Northridge 4-3 in the second
half.
Camille Hooks and Katie Rigler each had two goals apiece to
headline the offensive attack.
