This Week for the Tigers:
• After a grueling four-game stretch on the road, the Princeton women’s basketball team returns to the comforts of Jadwin Gym for a two-game home stand before the holiday break.
• The Tigers (5-4) open with two-time defending CAA champion Delaware (6-1) on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m.

Last Time Out:
• After shaking off some early nerves and going down 7-3, the Tigers responded to defeat Binghamton 75-49 on Dec. 11.
Blake Dietrick led the way with a game-high 21 points and six rebounds, while Michelle Miller added 11 points and Kristen Helmstetter made season and game-high five assists.
• With things tied up, 10-10 at 13:25, Princeton rattled off an 18-6 run to take its first double figure lead and from there maintained steady control over the remainder of the contest.
• The 49 points marked an opponent-low in points conceded for the Tigers.

On Deck: The Tigers host their final home game in 2013 on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. versus Illinois State.

Camper Appreciation and Family Day:
• The Tigers invite their summer campers and all families to their game versus Delaware for fun afternoon featuring a bounce house, interactive games and face painting
• Activities will begin an hour prior to tip off and continue at halftime.

Scouting Delaware:
• Delaware (6-1) heads to Princeton winners of its last five games.
• The Blue Hens’ last contest was on Dec. 1, a 69-44 victory over Howard, providing them with a two-week break in play before facing the Tigers.
• Delaware is outscoring opponents 67.1 to 53.1 for a +14.0 margin.
• Kelsey Buchanan leads the Hens with 16.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game, both team-bests. 

All-Time versus Delaware:
• The Blue Hens own the all-time series versus the Tigers 16-7, including winning the last two meetings.
• In the last meeting, Delaware beat Princeton in a buzzer beater, 59-58, in Newark, Del. on Dec. 9, 2013.
• The Tigers last defeated UD, 68-50, on Dec. 1, 2010 in Newark. 

Miller Earns First Ivy Player of the Week Honor:
• Coming off her team-leading 20-point performance at Navy, sophomore Michelle Miller was named Ivy League Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
• Miller nearly eclipsed her career record of 21 points against the Midshipmen, establishing a new season-best mark with her game-high 20 points in Princeton’s 73-57 win on Dec. 6.
• She went 9-for-12 from the field, setting a new career mark in field goals made, added a career-high four assists and five boards over her 30 minutes of work. 

Helmstetter Reaches Scoring Milestone:
• Senior Kristen Helmstetter’s 18 points at Navy on Dec. 6 guided the forward to the 500-point milestone.
• She went 6-for-10 from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 from the stripe to lift her to 503 career points. 

Blazing Blake:
• Another day, another 20-point performance for junior Blake Dietrick who had a game-high 21 at Binghamton on Dec. 11.
• She went 8-for-13 with three triples, added four assists and was tied for the team’s leader in rebounds with six.
• She’s scored in double figures six times this year and tallied 20 points or more three times. 

Berntsen’s Career Day:
• Sophomore Amanda Berntsen paced the first half offense with 10 points en route to establishing a career-high with 12 at Navy.
• She went 6-for-9 from the field and notched a career-best seven boards, all defensive. Her six made field goals recorded a career high.
• Her career marks continued as she tied a personal record with four assists, while adding a pair of steals over her 27 minutes of work.

Season High Scoring Mark: Along with six Tigers scoring in double figures, marking a season high, the squad shot a season-best from the field (62.5 percent) against Portland State on Nov. 30. 

Opponent Low: The Princeton defense held Binghamton to only 49 points, marking a season-best defensive effort and an opponent-low in points scored against the Tigers. 

Miller Time:
• Just as Binghamton was creeping away with the lead and early momentum, a pair of Michelle Miller triples quickly provided the lift the Tigers needed.
• She made three first half triples and finished with 11 points, while grabbing three rebounds and dishing three assists on Dec. 11.

Trending Now: Princeton has had at least two players score in double figures over the first nine games.

In the League:
• Princeton is the top-ranked team in the Ivy League in the following categories:
• Field goal percentage - .476 (256-for-538)
• Rebound defense - 33.8
• Rebound margin - +8.4
• Assists per game - 149 (16.6/game)

Perfect From the Line: Princeton shot a perfect 11-for-11 from the stripe at Navy, led by Kristen Helmstetter’s 6-for-6 performance.

Williams’ Way:
• Sophomore post Taylor Williams leads the Ivy League in field goal percentage, going 27-for-41 (.659).
• She is averaging 7.9 points in 18.2 minutes per game.

The National Scene:
• Princeton is currently ranked in the top-50 nationally in two categories as of the Dec. 8 stats update:
• No. 12 - field goal percentage (47.5)
• No. 46 - rebound margin (46)
Blake Dietrick is ranked No. 43 in three-point field goals per game (2.75) and No. 19 in three-point field goal percentage (47.8).

The Places We Go:
• Following their trip to Oregon, the Tigers will play the remainder of the regular season on the East Coast.
• Princeton plays in eight different states along the Eastern seaboard through March.

Polling Opponents:
• Both Rutgers and Marist were receiving votes towards a national ranking at the time of the meeting.
• St. Joseph’s currently is receiving votes towards a spot in the top-25.
