Two Rounds Remain for Men's Golf in Georgia

The Princeton men's golf team ended the first day of the Brickyard Collegiate tournament in Macon, Ga. in 13th place with two rounds to play.

Princeton's second round will start at 10 a.m. Saturday on the 10th hole.

Georgia Tech, which was ranked No. 4 in the nation in the Golf World/Nike Golf preseason poll, at -6 held a one-shot lead over Virginia Tech heading into Saturday's second round, while Georgia's Keith Mitchell carded a 65 to stand at -7 and lead Georgia Tech's Ollie Schniederjans by two shots.

Quinn Prchal had Princeton's best score in the first round, shooting a 76 to stand tied for 53rd in the 84-man field.
