2010-11: made dramatic late-season surge to earn first-team All-America honors, despite significant early injury issues … went 4-1 at CSA individual championships; despite coming in as the 26th seed, Shannon upset the second, fifth, sixth and seventh seeds en route to winning the second-round consolation draw … moved from 26th to ninth in final national rankings … went 9-4 overall and 3-0 in the Ivy League, including a 3-1 win over Yale at the No. 5 spot … played most of the season at No. 4, though topped Rochester 3-0 at No. 3. 2009-10: earned second-team All-America honors after dealing with injury-plagued season … went 7-5 overall but reached the CSA individual quarterfinals before falling to teammate Todd Harrity … defeated seventh-ranked Hywel Robinson of Yale in the second round of the CSA championships … went 4-1 against Ivy League rivals, with only loss coming against Yale in first week back from injury. 2008-09: earned first-team All-America honors despite missing half of season with an injury … recorded dramatic 3-2 victory in CSA team final against Trinity despite trailing match 2-0; it was his first win in all of 2009 … ended team season with 6-2 record, although first five wins all came before suffering midseason injury … reached CSA quarterfinals before losing to eventual national champion Baset Chaudhry; took 15 points off the two-time champion in the match.

Before Princeton
Considered one of the top recruits of Class of 2012 … spent 2007-08 training for World Junior Championships in Zurich … won multiple Canadian Junior and American Junior Open Championships … played No. 1 for Canada at World Championships.
