PRINCETON, N.J. - The Princeton University sprint football team has announced its 2014 schedule, which includes four home games among its seven contests.

The Tigers open the season at Navy on Friday, Sept. 19 before playing its first home game at Princeton Stadium against Post University on Friday, Sept. 26 (7 p.m.). After traveling to Franklin Pierce on Friday, Oct. 3, the Orange and Black return to the friendly confines for games against Cornell (10/10) and defending Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) champion Army (10/17).

Princeton will play its lone Saturday game at Mansfield on Oct. 25 before closing out the season at home against Penn on Oct. 31.

The 2014 campaign will be the first for head coach Sean Morey, who inherits the program after spending the last two years as a Department of Athletics Fellow for general administration. A 1999 graduate of Brown, Morey was the Ivy League's Rookie of the Year in 1995 and the conference's Player of the Year in 1997. A three-time first-team All-Ivy and All-New England selection, he twice garnered All-America honors.

Drafted in the seventh round of the 1999 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots, Morey eventually landed with the Pittsburgh Steelers after a stop with the Philadelphia Eagles, serving as a special teams captain during the team’s Super Bowl run in 2006. The following season, Morey joined Arizona Cardinals where he made a Pro Bowl and second Super Bowl appearance.
